Meeting Pilot Settings

How to Access Meeting Pilot Settings

  1. Go to the left sidebar

  2. Click the gear icon (Settings)

  3. Select Notification Settings

  4. Scroll down to Meeting Pilot Settings

You’ll see three key sections you can configure.

1. Pre-Meeting & Start Reminders

Stay prepared and never forget to launch Meeting Pilot.

Meeting Prep Reminder

Set a reminder to notify you X minutes before your meeting so you can review prep materials and insights.

You can choose exactly how many minutes before the meeting you’d like to be notified.

Meeting Start Reminder

Get a reminder to start Meeting Pilot when you join a call.

You can customize how many minutes before the meeting this reminder appears.

2. Meeting Automation

Prefer a hands-off experience? Turn on automatic Meeting Pilot detection.

Automatically Start Meeting Pilot

You can opt in to have Meeting Pilot automatically activate whenever you join a meeting.

Currently supported platforms:

  • Slack

  • Zoom

  • Google Meet

  • Microsoft Teams

Once enabled, Meeting Pilot will automatically detect meetings from your selected platforms and turn on without manual input.

You can choose which platforms to auto-detect meetings from.

3. Auto Collapse & Display Preferences

Make Meeting Pilot work seamlessly with your workflow.

Auto Collapse After Inactivity

If you forget to end your Meeting Pilot session, you can set it to automatically collapse after X minutes of inactivity.

You choose the time threshold.

This keeps your workspace clean and prevents unused sessions from staying open.

Default Screen Position

Choose where Meeting Pilot appears when it starts:

  • Top of your screen

  • Bottom of your screen

This setting ensures Meeting Pilot launches exactly where you prefer it, every time.

For most users, we recommend:

  • Meeting prep reminder: 10–15 minutes before meetings

  • Meeting start reminder: 1–2 minutes before meetings

  • Auto-start enabled for your primary meeting platform

  • Auto collapse set to 10–15 minutes

This setup ensures you’re always prepared, capturing insights, and keeping your workflow clean.
